Costa Rica Day 4 Arenal

A long day getting to Arenal. Back on the boat for 1.5 hours to Cano Negro. 2 hours to the same restaurant where we had lunch. After lunch, we said good-bye to Jorge and our new tour guide, Edgar, joined us. We didn’t get to Arenal until 6:00 PM. An annoying father/daughter were drinking beer in the back of the bus which just seemed ridiculous and talking loudly, which made the bus ride even longer. Six of us were glad to escape from the group for Dinner. Me, Eva, Catalina, Guillermo, Ed, and Nancy found a restaurant recommended in my guidebook: Choza Laurel. I had fish, frijoles, mango salsa, homemade tortillas. It never gets old! We walked around town after dinner and then went back to the hotel. For not doing much all day, we were tired. Sometimes the bus would stop and somehow our guides knew where to take pics of sloths and toucans with the super-zoom on their cameras. Here are some miscellaneous pics from the trip.
