I don’t have any journal entries from our last day in France… We drove around and hunted down some “wine caves” and pretty much took it easy and did some wine tasting. We saw a ton of amazing scenery. Our in-laws are huge “oenophiles” and I know they were really looking forward to traveling through the Cotes du Rhone area, sampling lots of different wines. We also had our “splurge” dinner at Le Fournil where the food was excellent, but the restaurant lacked the beautiful views and ambiance of Le Tenil. We had such an amazing trip with Earl and Lisa and felt so lucky to be able to travel in this beautiful part of the country. We hope to come back someday.
